Nope.

There is no error message..but while turning on my PC windows is not booting.

It just stuck at the motherboard splash.

I just want to know whether these things happen due to this rundll32.exe error.

Help me to fix this below.

No, I'm using only Windows defender.

To isolate your concern, we suggest that you run System File checker.It is a command that you can use to scan all protected files and replaces damaged or corrupted versions with the correct versions where possible. Check this articlefor more information.

This is caused by an entry in your Startup processes:

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys together to open Task Manager
  2. On the Startup Tab look for anything relating to this file (rundll32.exe)
  3. If you find something related, select it and click 'Disable'

If you did not find it there:

  1. Press Windows + R keys together to open the Run Dialog
  2. Type msconfig in the run dialog and hit enter
  3. Click on the Services Tab of the resulting dialog
  4. Check the box marked 'Hide all Microsoft Services'
  5. Look for anything relating to this file (rundll32.exe)
  6. If you find it, uncheck it
  7. Click Apply and Reboot

Since you could not find anything in your standard startup locations:

Click HERE to download Autoruns from Technet, a small free utility that does not need installing. This utility will give you a much more detailed view of apps and processes starting with your system . . .

  1. Unzip the Download, right click either Autoruns.exe or Autoruns64.exe (depending on whether you are running 32bit or 64bit Window 10) and select 'Run as Administrator'
  2. Scroll down to find any entry referring to rundll32.exe and uncheck it
  3. Restart your system and this annoyance should be gone
